The MZ computers are fantastic, and sold in great numbers, so it's a shame that this forum isn't more active.
It's sad that the MZ retro scene in general is not more like the Apple II, Commodore or Sinclair scenes with new hardware and software still being developed. I realize that these other systems probably out sold Sharp systems by a factor of 10.
Oh well, just ranting!

I think it'd be good to remember that this place is an extension of the actual Sharp Users Club, if you want to make things more active then write some articles for the magazine or something! But i do understand what you're getting at, that there should be an active back & forth 'real time' discussion of ideas and project discussions etc, the scene is just much much smaller than the usual suspects' scenes (commodore, atari, spectrum, bbc etc)
There are projects on the go actually. Despite not updating my Sharp games website in a while, the new year will see me and Yowl collaborating on the project I was working on (as it's honestly too huge for me to dedicate all of my time to especially with all my current commitments). We're going to share the development of this very big game, but aside from that Yowl did have a hardware project for UDGs on the 80A which he may have an update for us I don't know and he has his own gaming projects. Please contribute more if you want more activity I have to admit I only look here once in a while as I sometimes forget about the site unfortunately ! |

I've been adding a little more material recently, though the whole premise of the site is to provide a place for everyone to contribute; not just admins. Of course the community is small now, and most probably still diminishing, so it is a struggle.
One of my website projects is to start populating the magazine archive that has been sat dormant for several years! I'll start it this week. Promise. |

Hi!
I don't follow you... what do you mean with the "actual" Club?

Well, this isn't the club. This is just a website so the club has a presence on the web. |
